Dress Code

Men's Dress Code
A reasonable standard of dress is required both on the course and in the Clubhouse.

Appropriate on the Course - Collared shirts including golf specific turtle/crew necked (shirts must be tucked in) long smart casual trousers, tailored shorts (must have fly, waistband, side pockets and be of reasonable length), only conventional golf shoes may be worn on the course. Long socks or predominantly white ankle, or shoe liner socks.

Inappropriate on the Course - Tracksuits, trainers, street shoes, non-tailored shorts, baseball caps worn back to front, shirts outside trousers, trousers tucked into socks, blue denim clothing, football/rugby type shirts, collarless t-shirts, vests.

Appropriate in the Clubhouse - Smart casual, collared shirts including golf specific  turtle/crew necked (shirts must be tucked in) Trousers or tailored shorts. Appropraite street shoes, long socks or predominantly white ankle, or shoe liner socks. 

Golf Shoes - Permitted in the locker room area OR for the collection of drinks ONLY from the members bar. (Members bar is the one with the T.V.)

Burgoyne Suite - After 6pm jacket and tie or smart casual wear permitted. All official and social club functions will have the required dress code posted on the notice boards.  Shorts may NOT be worn in the Burgoyne suite after 6.00pm.

Inappropriate in the Clubhouse - Tracksuits, trainers, non-tailored shorts, hats, blue denim clothing, football/rugby type shirts, collarless t-shirts, vests, stockinged feet. Waterproof over trousers, clothing showing the rigours of the course.

Mobile phones - May be carried on the course for use in emergency, and may also be used in the club car park

Please do not be offended if asked to leave the Clubhouse or Course if you fail to observe the proper dress code & regulations.

Ladies Dress Code
A reasonable standard of dress is required both on the course and in the Clubhouse.

Appropriate on the Course - Collared shirts/blouse including "golf specific" turtle/crew necked, collared sleeveless tops (both to be tucked in), Smart casual trousers, ¾ length tailored trousers, golf shoes, tailored shorts, (must have fly, waistband, side pockets and be of reasonable length), predominantly white ankle length sports socks, or shoe liners. Suitable ladies blouson tops may be worn outside the trousers/shorts. Modern shorter, slim-fitting golf shirts may be worn but they must not be so short as to expose the midriff.

Inappropriate on the Course - Tracksuits, leggings, trainers, street shoes, non-tailored shorts, baseball caps worn back to front, trousers tucked into socks, blue denim clothing, football/rugby type shirts, collarless t-shirts, vests.

Appropriate in the Clubhouse - Smart casual, long smart casual trousers, ¾ length tailored trousers,  tailored shorts, appropriate street shoes.
