Two Great Courses

John O’Gaunt Golf Club has a wonderfully British feel and design, boasting two 2 equally well presented and complementary 18-hole courses: the 6,535 yard John O’Gaunt and the 5,833 yard Carthagena.

Lined with a beautiful variety of mature trees, the John O’Gaunt, consistently recognised as ‘the best track in the County’ stretches out across the gently undulating Bedfordshire landscape; however, its beauty can be deceptive as it is often described as a ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’! The Carthagena is a little shorter but no less challenging, tighter and quirky in places; built on exceptionally free-draining soil, the Carthagena offers all year-round opportunities.

Together the John O’Gaunt and the Carthagena present an excellent venue for golfers of all abilities.

Dress Code

All members, their guests and visitors are requested to adhere to the Club Dress Code, both  on the golf courses and in the clubhouse at all times – please don’t be offended if asked to adjust your dress if it infringes our relatively relaxed style and expectations.
