Senior Section Foursomes Knockout 2023 - DRAW AND RESULTS ENTRY Rules

Foursomes Knockout, full handicap, Yellow and Red Tees.
This is a matchplay competition to be played on the 2-ball course of the day
Handicaps are calculated as follows:-
The players on both teams add together their COURSE HANDICAPS (calculated using Handicap Index and adjusted for the course and for yellow or red tees) Shots to be awarded according to the yellow stroke index. The team with the higher handicap total subtracts the other team's total handicap and then divide the resulting handicap by 2. This is the number of strokes that the higher handicap team receives from the other team.
For example:
Team A - total playing handicap 30
Team B - total playing handicap 15
Therefore the difference is 30 - 15 = 15. Divided by 2 = 7.5.
This is rounded up to 8 which is the number of strokes that Team B must give to Team A.
In the event that the result is all square after 18 holes, the players shall continue at the next tee until a team wins a hole. That team shall be the winner of the round.
The winning team is responsible for recording the result of the match.
Each round must be played and the match result recorded by the closing date of that round.
