The John O'Gaunt Experience

John O’Gaunt Golf Club has a strong and welcoming collective of members; our Men’s, Ladies, Juniors, and Seniors sections offer a full schedule of competitions, team fixtures, roll-ups, and events aimed at players of all ages and abilities. We compete in various local leagues at all levels, participate in ‘friendly’ matches against other clubs, and organise competitions and events to engage and entertain all golfers….all run alongside our extensive and varied social calendar.

We recognise the future of our great game is in the hands of our Junior golfers, and as such offer vastly discounted membership rates to younger players, aged under 27; moreover, anyone who joins the Club as a Youth member after the age of 18 will be entitled to a 10% discount of the Joining Fee (£1630) for each year of Youth membership…all Junior members who transition into Youth and, eventually, into Full membership will not be required to pay the Joining Fee.

Our John O’Gaunt course retained its position as ‘the No. 1 track in the County’ according to the Top 100 Golf Courses of the World; in addition, our Carthagena course continues to rise up the rankings to No. 8

Annual Subscription Fees (2024)

• The annual subscription operates from 1 January to 31 December; it will be charged pro rata when joining partway through a year.
• An Admin charge of £5/month applies for subscriptions paid by Direct Debit over a maximum of 10 months (February - November).
• The Joining Fee can be spread over up to 5 years at £500 per year; this can be combined with the subscription and paid by Direct Debit.

The Joining Process

The process is very straightforward, designed to help you understand how you can maximise the benefits of membership of Your Club .  Similarly, we take a very proactive approach to integrating new members into the Club to make you feel Welcome from Day 1.
