Bedfordshire County Junior Tour

John O'Gaunt hosted the last of the Bedfordshire Junior Tour winter events prior to the final today (Sunday 24th March 2024) and I am pleased to say that we had some very good home club results, with three of our juniors in the top four.

Played on the Carthagena in very windy but dry conditions there were 43 juniors with several of the County clubs represented so not an easy journey to the top of the leaderboard but with an amazing score of 43 points Georgia Gordon triumphed over Ollie Newman who also had 43 but lost out on countback.  In fourth place on 42 points was Freya Pallett so well done to them all.  Also well done to all the other JOG Junior members for taking part.

We had some wonderful comments about our very dry course.  It seems there are still a lot of courses still not fully open.  We are very lucky.
