On Monday the 14th of April the Jock Allan Prostate Project Charity Day is being held at John O'Gaunt.
Part of this day includes the feature of the Man Van. The Man Van will offer free Prostate Cancer screening for all Male members aged 45 and over or of any age if they have a family history of cancer.
They will also be offering Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer testing for female members however this does come at a cost.
DID YOU KNOW? The most common cancers in men and women are prostate, ovarian and breast cancer. All three of which can be detected with a simple blood test.
Screening is free for all Male Club members and competitors in the Jock Allan Prostate Project competition. However, there will be an opportunity for non competitors to make a small donation to the Prostate Project Charity if they wish.
Take advantage of this important health service and register for testing now through the IG diary or the Website's What's On Page. Registration will close on April 4th and the healthcare professional will be in contact with your scheduled appointment time.
Tests will be administered by a private healthcare company called Empowered Health Networks (Home | EHN Life).
