Captains' Swansong

A send off fitting for four great captains.

The Captains' Swansong Dinner and Trophy took place over the weekend, with over 50 members and guests enjoying an incredible evening of live music and great food.

Thank you to Phil Wright and Barbara Thomas for the fantastic musical performance and to the ladies section for arranging the flowers.

The next morning 44 members were brave enough to battle it out in the Swansong Trophy. Congratulations to Martin Stackemann and Philip Wright on their winning score of 42 points, just beating David Barlow and Terry Domagala on countback.

A huge thank you to Justin, Christine, Richard, and Ixie for all their hard work as captains this year! We hope you enjoyed the dinner and the golf on Saturday and of course your year as captains.

Don't forget to join us this Saturday at the Captains' Putt Out and Drive In, for a final farewell and a warm welcome to new captains Peter, Jackie, Tony, and Lucy. We hope to see you there!
